You can't make a documentary without cameras. I don't have a $10,000 film camera just sitting around, so I'll have to ask for the help of professional camera people and production companies to get this project done.
But when I'm not hiring a film crew, I'll have to rely on my own camera skills. One of the first steps is to buy a camera; probably the first of many throughout this project.
Today I bought one from Todd Sobocinski at Camera Etc in Newark. He was patient with me while I asked a bunch of questions today and the last time I was in the shop seeking consultation. Ane he even allowed me to take a selfie with him.
Can't wait to use it on Wednesday at a couple of events in town.
